NAD+ Infusion

An intravenous infusion of molecular Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) which is pivotal for:

  • • Energy production, converts food to energy in the cell as an electron transporter

  • • DNA repair, activates PARPs which detect and repair cellular DNA

  • • Gene/Protein Expression, increases SIRT proteins (anti-aging protein) expression and suppresses mTOR proteins (aging protein)

  • • Cell signaling, activates immune response for cellular inflammation and metabolic stress

  • • Neurotransmission, key role in brain function and processes

  • • Enzymatic activity, prevents age-associated functional deficits in cell function

Role of NAD+ Therapy

When NAD+ levels are increased, cells produce more energy, healthy gene expression is upregulated, DNA is repaired, and metabolism is improved. As NAD+ is a powerful and prolific molecule in the body, IV therapy can be helpful for many different conditions including:

  • • Substance abuse / addiction

  • • Alcoholism

  • • Anxiety / Stress Disorder

  • • Depression

  • • PTSD

  • • Chronic Fatigue

  • • Chronic Pain

  • • Neurodegenerative disorders

  • • Sleep Disorders

  • • Behavioral Disorders

  • • Fluoroquinolone toxicity

Additionally, NAD+ therapy has been used extensively as an anti-aging and performance enhancing supplement

After NAD+ therapy, clients have generally reported the following benefits:

  • • Increased energy

  • • Improved mood

  • • Increased mental clarity

  • • Increased focus and concentration

  • • Improved memory

  • • Decreased pain

  • • Improved eyesight and hearing

  • • Enhanced sense of purpose

  • • Reduced cravings of substances

  • • Significant reduction of withdrawal symptoms

NAD+ qualifies as a supplement under FDA guidelines. These statements have NOT been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Intravenous NAD+ therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease

  • • Review your medical history. We will discuss medical conditions and medications

  • • Discuss your expectations. We will talk about your motivations and expectations and risks

  • • Treatment schedule will be crafted according to your assessment. Dosage, frequency and expected duration of therapy will be delineated

  • • Vital signs including blood sugar will be monitored and recorded

  • • Site will be prepared with medical cleanser

  • • An IV catheter will be placed into appropriate vein, usually in the forearm region

  • • The NAD+ is diluted in a liter of normal saline, and infused at a very slow rate

  • • Some patients report fullness in the chest and back of the neck or light-headedness during treatment, rate will be adjusted to mitigate these effects

  • • Treatment usually takes 3 to 4 hours minutes based on flow rate, you will be seated in a comfortable recliner during the infusion or may choose to rest in our sensory deprivation room

  • • Nurse will monitor your vital signs and comfort during the infusion

  • • You will be offered a healthy snack and bathroom break during the infusion

  • • When completed, the IV is removed and a Band-Aid is placed at the site, you may drive yourself immediately after the infusion

  • • After treatment, you are free to perform any usual activities without restriction

  • • Some report a caffeinated effect on energy and mood as well as increase in urine production
